ACFTU Pulls out All Stops to Build a Legal Team

Recently the ACFTU has rolled out a three-year plan(2014-2016) for building a team of lawyers. Under the plan, trade union federations at all levels around the country should each have no less than 1,000 lawyers. Of this total, the number of public lawyers should not fall below 500. The plan further stipulates that the number of people who have acquired a law degree on the staff of the legal work department of a trade union federation should not go below 70%.
